International Conference and Fair on Education, Research & Employment in the Renewable Energy Sector – ICERE2 2010, Santiago, Chile, 11th-12th November 2010

© Universidade de Chile ICERE2 2010 is a scientific conference focussing on sharing experiences and ideas related to education and research in renewable energy at institutions of higher education, as well as employment in the renewable energy sector. The conference’s target group are researchers in universities, research institutions and research intensive industry especially from Latin America and European countries.

International JELARE Capacity Building Seminar, Florianópolis, 8th July 2010

The "International JELARE Capacity Building Seminar" was held in Florianópolis, between the 6th and 8th July 2010 and was an opportunity in the JELARE project to foster the knowledge and technology transfer between UNISUL Brazil and  the representatives partners from Higher Education Institutions from Latvia: Rezekne University, Guatemala: Galileo University and Catholic University from Bolivia “San Pablo”.

JELARE Workshop for integration in the German-Brazilian year of Science, Technology and Innovation, Florianópolis, 5th July 2010

The JELARE Seminar about the Brazil-Germany year of science, technology and innovation, took place in Florianopolis, on July 5th, 2010. The Seminar was an initiative of Project JELARE aiming to encourage the transfer of knowledge and technology, on the area of renewable energy, between Brazil and Germany and to encourage partnerships between academies and organizations in these countries.

International Seminar on Bioenergy, Rēzeknē, 6th May 2010

The International seminar on Bioenergy in the framework of the JELARE project successfully took place in the Latvian city Rēzeknē on the 6th May 2010. Seminar was hosted by Rēzeknēs Augstskola and was attended by members from the partner universities: Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Universidad Católica Boliviana, Universidade Do Sul de Santa Catarina (Brazil), Universidad de Chile and Universidad Galileo (Guatemala), as well as by the representatives from University of Latvia, Latvian Agricultural University, Riga Technical University and Latvian enterprises. Symposium "Renewable energy in German-Brazilian knowledge and technology transfer"
Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, (HAW Hamburg), 30th April 2010

This symposium took place to promote knowledge and technology transfer between Brazil and Germany in renewable energies, to facilitate working relationships and support better networking between German and Brazilian institutions involved with renewable energy by using concrete examples of cooperative projects.

1er Taller Internacional de la Red JELARE
Educación e Investigación en Energía Renovable en Universidades Europeas y Latinoamericanas
Florianópolis, Brasil, 10 de junio de 2009

El “Taller Internacional de la Red JELARE”, se realizó con éxito en Florianópolis el 10 de junio de 2009. Más de 120 participantes del sector público, empresas y de la academia se reunieron aprovechando la oportunidad de intercambio entre actores clave regionales brasileños y representantes de Instituciones de Educación Superior de Alemania, Latvia, Guatemala, Chile y Bolivia. Presentaciones, fotos y artículos de prensa estarán disponibles en este sitio dentro de poco.

Arranque exitoso de JELARE en Hamburgo

La reunión de arranque del proyecto tuvo lugar en Hamburgo, del 25 al 27 de febrero de 2009. El anfitrión de la reunión fue el socio líder HAW Hamburgo, y asistieron miembros de universidades asociadas: Rēzeknes Augstskola (Latvia), Universidad Católica Boliviana, Universidade Do Sul de Santa Catarina (Brazil), Universidad de Chile and Universidad Galileo (Guatemala).

El programa y cronograma del proyecto fueron discutidos y se acordaron las medidas sucesivas. Los participantes además visitaron el laboratorio de biocombustibles y la planta de energía solar de HAW Hamburgo, la cual es utilizada para propósitos de enseñanza y será ampliada para incluir un sistema de enfriamiento solar.
