International Conference and Fair on Education, Research & Employment in the Renewable Energy Sector – ICERE2 2010

ICERE2 2010 is a scientific conference focussing on sharing experiences and ideas related to education and research in renewable energy at institutions of higher education, as well as employment in the renewable energy sector. The conference’s target group are researchers in universities, research institutions and research intensive industry especially from Latin America and European countries.

The "International JELARE Capacity Building Seminar" was held in Florianópolis, between the 6th and 8th July 2010 and was an opportunity in the JELARE project to foster the knowledge and technology transfer between UNISUL Brazil and  the representatives partners from Higher Education Institutions from Latvia: Rezekne University, Guatemala: Galileo University and Catholic University from Bolivia “San Pablo”.

The JELARE Seminar about the Brazil-Germany year of science, technology and innovation, took place in Florianopolis, on July 5th, 2010. The Seminar was an initiative of Project JELARE aiming to encourage the transfer of knowledge and technology, on the area of renewable energy, between Brazil and Germany and to encourage partnerships between academies and organizations in these countries.

Rēzeknē projekta JELARE ietvaros notika starptautiskas seminārs „Bioenerģija”. Semināru organizēja Rēzeknes Augstskola, tajā piedalījās viesi no partneru universitātēm: Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Universidad Católica Boliviana, Universidade Do Sul de Santa Catarina (Brazil), Universidad de Chile and Universidad Galileo (Guatemala), kā arī Latvijas Universitātes, Latvijas lauksaimniecības universitātes, Rīgas Tehniskās universitātes un Latvijas uzņēmumu pārstāvji.
