Panorama Galileo University International Seminar on Capacity Building and Networking Galileo University, Guatemala 2nd to 6th May 2011 As part of the JELARE project, an international conference took place from 2nd to 6th May 2011 at the Galileo University in Guatemala. The conference was rounded off by an international seminar on the topic of capacity building and networking. The following topics were discussed: “Electricity for all” – the role of the university, public and private institutions and NGOs Challenges in the integration of renewable energies in higher education Experiences in the introduction of a university course in renewable energies in Guatemala Experiences in updating the curriculum at other universities in Guatemala as well as at partner universities participating in the JELARE project.
